Cathay West Kowloon Jazz Festival: JACE Chan x Teriver

Hong Kong’s Annual Jazz Extravaganza Every autumn, as the sounds of jazz fill the air, the West Kowloon Cultural District—and indeed the entire city—comes alive to the rhythm. Now in its eighth year, the jazz festival once again brings together a stellar lineup of international and local talent. This includes world-renowned jazz icons such as Kenny G, Diana Krall, and Stacey Kent; acclaimed contemporary artists making waves on the global stage like Cory Wong, Song Yi Jeon, and Francesca Tandoi; homegrown jazz virtuosos Cy Leo and Teriver Cheung; and boundary-pushing pop artist JACE Chan. Over the course of this ten-day celebration, performers from diverse backgrounds and musical styles will take to various indoor and outdoor stages across the West Kowloon Cultural District, collectively painting a vibrant and multifaceted portrait of Hong Kong’s jazz scene. This year’s program spans the Xiqu Centre, Freespace, and Art Park—including three expansive outdoor lawns. From day to night, music lovers can wander between venues to explore a wide spectrum of jazz, witness fresh collaborations and cross-genre encounters, and immerse themselves in a free-spirited, unconstrained festival atmosphere. Furthermore, we have carved out an "urban oasis" on the lawn outside M+—a dedicated space for activities that nurture both body and mind. Here, amidst the spirited beats and surging emotions of the festival, you are invited to slow your pace, unwind, and find the space to spark new inspiration and imagination.
