Program Introduction A group of core young performers from the Shijiazhuang Sixian Art Center will showcase the artistic charm of Yanzhao-region opera—a tradition that demands mastery of both civil (dramatic/literary) and martial (acrobatic/combat) skills, characterized by its vigorous and spirited style. Shijiazhuang Sixian, recognized as one of the first national-level Intangible Cultural Heritages, is an ancient theatrical form unique to Hebei Province. It is distinguished by its robust, archaic aesthetic, resonant and soaring vocal melodies, and highly dynamic, high-tension martial arts sequences.
