Biswa Kalyan Rath - An evening of laughter before AI takes our job

BISWA KALYAN RATH: INVENTIONS – Hong Kong Show Following a series of sold-out performances across North America and India, Biswa Kalyan Rath brings his latest, highly acclaimed world tour, "Inventions," to your city! In this brand-new show, Biswa uses his signature observational humor and trademark "angry" rants to explore some of the most fascinating human inventions—including one small invention of his own! Biswa Kalyan Rath’s comedy career began with more than just a casual experiment; his "Pretentious Movie Reviews" on YouTube served as a mere appetizer for the side-splitting performances that would follow. After releasing the hilarious stand-up special "Biswa Mast Aadmi," he surprised audiences with "Laakhon Mein Ek"—a dark, compelling series delving into the grueling "coaching" industry surrounding the Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT). The show’s second season, released in 2019, proved that his storytelling talent was no mere flash in the pan. Known for his signature indignant rants and his uncanny ability to unearth humor in the mundane, Biswa possesses a unique, laugh-out-loud comedic style. Building on his debut special, he went on to release two more highly acclaimed works—"Sushi" and "Mood Kharab," the latter of which was filmed at London’s renowned Soho Theatre.
