After the Office Drama

Presented by Why Show Serious and written and directed by Tang Chi-kin, the stage comedy *Office Drama Queens* offers a relatable, humorous look at the chaotic survival struggles of office women. The production features an ensemble cast including stage icon Alice Lau, Academy for Performing Arts standout Leung Ka-ki, HOY TV star Lo Chung-yan ("Mui Tau"), and the ever-popular Cheung Kam-ha ("Ah Ha"), alongside comedic talents Cheung Yik-tung and So Yuk-fai. Together, they bring this brand-new comedy to life—transforming shared experiences into laughter and turning tears into wit. When a washed-up actress transitions to an office job, she encounters "free-riding" colleagues and a viciously mean boss. In her search for self-worth, she discovers that her coworkers aren't just two-faced—they are full-blown "Drama Queens" with a thousand different personas. The play gives voice to the unspoken frustrations of women in the workplace, using the medium of "theater" to reveal the "inner dramas" playing out in their minds. If the workplace is a cutthroat palace intrigue, and personal growth is a horror movie—then let’s all embrace our inner "Trauma Queens"!
