Cheng Jiamin and Fu Houtai's Two-Piano Concert

Pianists Dr. Cheng Jiamin and Fu Houtai will collaborate this evening to perform four-hand and two-piano pieces spanning three centuries. Mozart's Piano Sonata in C major, K. 521, will open the first half of the program for four-hand pieces. Other selections include Liszt's arrangement of a theme from Bellini's Italian opera *La Sonnambula* and William Hertz's charming and playful *The Wizard of Oz Fantasy*. The second half features two two-piano works: Rachmaninoff's *Piano Suite No. 1*, imbued with Romanticism, and Ravel's majestic *Waltz*. The program lasts approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, including a 15-minute intermission. Audience members are requested to be seated on time; latecomers will be admitted during intermission or at a later time.
