West Kowloon Performing Arts x Move Beyond: Hong Kong Best Dance Crew 2026

Bringing together top-tier dancers for five days of diverse activities, this event showcases the vibrant energy of Hong Kong’s street dance culture. In December, West Kowloon Performing Arts and Move Beyond will co-present a five-day street dance extravaganza. Held at Freespace, the event will feature an exciting lineup, including intense dance battles, performances by local dance crews, international masterclasses, seminars, and crew-based showcase battles. Local groups specializing in styles such as Breaking, Hip Hop, Popping, Locking, House, and Waacking will deliver dazzling choreographed routines and exhibition matches. The event also includes battle categories for both children and the general public, allowing dancers of all ages to test their skills against one another. Furthermore, world-class dancers from the United States, Japan, South Korea, and beyond will serve as professional judges and instructors. Through masterclasses and special performances, they will engage deeply with the local street dance community, fostering mutual inspiration. The grand finale on Sunday will feature a street dance competition that transcends stylistic boundaries. The U18 category will showcase one-on-one duels, while the group category will see four-member teams compete for the title of "Hong Kong Best Dance Crew 2026."
