The Lion Inside

"Even the smallest of creatures can possess the mighty heart of a lion!" A heartwarming tale about building self-confidence and courage, following a shy little mouse who sets off on a journey to find his own roar. In a dry, dusty land where the sands shimmer like gold, there stands a vast, flat rock—ancient and rugged. Beneath this rock lies a tiny home, inhabited by the smallest, quietest, and meekest mouse of all. Tired of being overlooked and forgotten by other animals, the little mouse wishes he could roar like a lion. But, as he soon discovers, even the biggest and most commanding figures can sometimes feel afraid—and even the tiniest of beings can harbor the heart of a lion! Based on the bestselling picture book by Rachel Bright and Jim Field, *The Lion Inside* is directed by Sarah Punshon (known for *The Jungle Book*) and features music and lyrics by Eamonn O’Dwyer (composer for *Brief Encounter*). Blending imaginative puppetry, melodic music, and lively song and dance, this delightful new stage production is as meaningful as it is full of laughter.
