Dance Academy Autumn Performance

This year’s *Dance Academy Autumn Performances* feature three distinctive works: *Sylvia Suite* by Ou Lu, which showcases the artistic maturity and technical mastery of the ballet students; *Drum, Path, Journey*—a collaboration between Yu Biyan and Li Zhangliang—which celebrates cultural heritage and vitality through resonant drumming and rhythmic movement; and *The Calling*, a new contemporary dance piece by British choreographer and Artist-in-Residence (Contemporary Dance) Oliver Sayer, which reimagines the traditional Chinese myth of the "water ghost" within the setting of 1970s Wan Chai.
